Manchester City's Scott Sinclair in hospital with blood clot
Manchester City say that winger Scott Sinclair has suffered a blood clot in his shoulder and is having treatment in hospital.
The 24-year-old was taken ill during training on Friday and missed his side's goalless draw against former club Swansea on Saturday.
City tweeted a get well message to Sinclair and manager Roberto Mancini said: "Scott had a problem [on Friday].
"I don't think it is a bad situation and it is under control."
City expect to find out more about Sinclair's condition in the next 48 hours but he could be ruled out of the FA Cup final against Wigan at Wembley on 11 May.
His absence would end a frustrating season for Sinclair at the Etihad, having moved to City from Swansea for £6.2m last August.
He has made just three starts among his 15 appearances for the club this season.
Mancini suggested prior to the game at Swansea that the former Chelsea player's future may lie away from the club.
